Byline: The Register-Guard Later this month Meadowview Elementary School fourth-grader Jordan Foss will travel to Little Rock, Ark., to compete for age-group honors in the traditional weapons and XMA weapons classes at the American Taekwando Association World Championships. Over the past 11-month season, Jordan finished with top-10 rankings in those events while competing in the boys 8- to 10-year-old black-belt division. An Oregon state champion in five categories, Jordan has placed first in events at the Fall Nationals in Orlando, Fla., and at the Spring Nationals in Las Vegas. Jordan trains at Dueros Taekwando Academy in Eugene, and he will also try out by invitation for the World Demo Team while in Little Rock.
